Please join us for a great drive from our house in New Haven, to Independence Dam State Park in Defiance Ohio. It’s the longest day of the year, and I have ordered sunshine and 79 degree weather . . .
A nice backroads adventure of 51 miles and only 1 stoplight! We have rented the Clevenger Shelter House (pavilion) at the park, and have plenty of parking spaces. This is not a race, and everyone is invited to attend. Picnic tables are available in the shelter house, but feel free to bring your folding chairs if you so desire. Once we arrive, we can enjoy a picnic (BYOF) and relax in the park and enjoy everyone’s company.
The drive should take about 1 hour and 20 minutes.
