Beautiful Old US-24 Drive to Perrysburg, Ohio

For all of those not going to the Pumpkin Run at Putnam Park Road Course this weekend………

We have put together a great event for those not interested in the track, where you get to drive your car on some of the coolest roads in the area.

First, on Saturday we will make a fantastic Fall drive along the Maumee river on old US 24/424 from the Fort Wayne area to Perrysburg, OH. This road

follows the river with all of its fabulous winding turns.

We will have lunch in Defiance, OH at Kissner’s. We will then progress through Florida and Texas along the way. Who knew they were in Ohio? 😉

We will have some interesting stops along the way for Antiquing, shopping, some History, and some things that we will keep secret till that day. Nice leisurely drive.

We will then spend the night in Perrysburg with the first 10 to sign up in the luxurious Belamere Suites Hotel. Phone (419)874-2233. (10 rooms reserved under Robert Fike.) Ask for Heather the manager.

At the Belamere, you will have your own private one car garage! (And lots of other cool stuff)

There are plenty of other Hotels/Motels in the area for those not in the first 10.

For dinner we will meet at Biaggi’s Ristorante Italiano.

Sunday morning we will wind our way back along the river on Ohio SR65 winding up in Grand Rapids. (who knew that was in Ohio too?) We will have priority parking for their Apple Butter Festival. After the festival, we will all go our own ways home.

Should be a blast! Beautiful Fall colors, great driving roads, great Porsche people!!! Oh and food too.
