Lahody’s Main Dining Room downstairs
Mezzanine Room upstairs (Porsche Club reserved)
Located about one hour from either Indianapolis or Fort Wayne, Muncie is the perfect location for a CIR “Meet in the Middle” Destination Dinner. We had 34 members from all over the state attend last year and everyone gave the restaurant, food, drinks and service a “Two Thumbs Up!”
Ron Lahody’s “Trust Your Butcher” Steak House has a very classy New York City Bistro vibe and decor with excellent hand-cut steaks (Ron also owns the top butcher shop in Muncie and also has prime aged steaks available and on display!), seafood (his oysters are the largest we’ve ever seen and are flown in fresh every other day from the Chesapeake Bay), jumbo shrimp cocktails, large scallops from Massachusetts, Bay of Fundy Salmon, thick Indiana pork chops, wonderfully unique side dishes, best sweet corn bread ever and house-made desserts along with a very lively full-service bar (over 200 Bourbon/Whiskey choices).
We have reserved their upstairs Mezzanine Room, overlooking the bar below, which will hold up to 40 and is all open-air. Separate checks arranged. See their website below for their first-class menu (everything is great and well worth the drive!).
Location: 231 So. Walnut St., Muncie, IN 47305. NW corner of Walnut & Jackson Sts. in downtown Muncie’s restaurant/bar/entertainment district. 765-896-8772
Parking: Park anywhere for free on the street or in either of the two well-lit, large public parking lots behind the restaurant.
