Drive,Picnic,Hike

Let’s  take a drive, pack your lunch and then TAKE A HIKE.  The drive will start on the southside of Indy and end at the Cherry Lake Shelter House in Morgan Monroe State Forest. After the drive of about 1.5 hours we will end at the shelter house and have our packed lunch we brought with us. After lunch for those of us that want to stretch our legs we will venture on a 1.5 mile leisurely hike through the state park. If you are not the Hiking Type you are welcome to hang out at the shelter house or return back.

If you would like to meet at the Shelter house , the drive will arrive about 11:30 at the shelter house.
