A Relaxing Rural Drive Ending in a Tour of the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum
June 4 @ 1:30 pm - 5:00 pm EDT

Join us for a fun drive on rural two lane roads following the St. Joe River. We will meet at the Lassus Handy Dandy parking lot just east of I-69 at 1:15 pm and leave to travel east on Indiana RT 1 at 1:30 pm.. Navigators, be ready to look at more than the scenery as a quiz will be graded and prizes awarded at the end of the drive.
Plan on taking some time for photos when we arrive at the Spencerville Covered Bridge which is celebrating it’s 150 year anniversary. From there we will drive another 20 miles to the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum in Auburn, Indiana. That weekend Michael Barney, General Manager of Sweetcars, is hosting the “Meet in the Middle” Micro Car event (https://www.microcarmeet.com/). He owns a couple of those mini autos!
While there is no charge for the drive, admission to the museum is $10.50 for adults and $7.50 for children 7 – 18.
We will have at least 1 docent for our group to guide us through the museum. The museum always has new exhibits so each visit there can be new things to see!
