Have questions about DE? The first question that would come to my mind would be will I hurt my car? Or do I need special equipment? The answers to these and other questions can be found at http://cirpca.org/DEFAQs.aspx . If you don’t find the answer to your question there , contact the CIR DE chairman at CIRPCA.DE@gmail.com

The answer to the first question is, "possibly".  DE driving is inherently risky, and your private insurance carrier will not cover your medical expenses and or losses while driving your personal transport vehicle on the track, unless you lie about your accident - (with huge consequences if you're caught committing insurance fraud).  The answer to the 2nd question is "not really" if you're a beginner, and "most definitely" if you're already addicted to track driving (as in - you have a dedicated DE car).  See you all next season at our CIR PCA Putnam Park events for 2016 - they are April 23/24 and October 8/9 - both April and October dates are Saturday and Sunday weekend dates.
