We have 544 registered CIR PCA members, yet only 9.5% of the membership attended the 2015 CIR PCA gala (which was a good turn-out in relative terms)?  Why join a national car club if you don't plan to participate in anything?  Are you in the Porsche club for the "Pan-O" magazine?  Do you just want to carry the PCA card, so you can say, "I'm a card-carrying member"?  Do you merely browse the Mart ads - looking for your next Porsche to buy, and to subsequently flip the Porsche you have (or is it the other way around)?  There's much more to being a Porsche Club member than just the magazine, card, and classified ads!  The membership benefits from Porsche Club fellowship are immense.  I've been lucky to make long-term friendships, and was able to find professional services (a really good elder care attorney in Indianapolis) through a fellow PCA instructor.  Connections, contacts, and ultimately -- long-lasting friendships are made through social interactions at club events; not through browsing the magazine, or flipping through the Mart ads.  So come on out to the last few events of the 2015 season, and set yourself up for a great 2016 with your Porsche Club region!  --Manny
