Greetings fellow Porsche Club Members!

My name is Mike Cardenas and I'm honored to serve as CIRPCA's Tech Car Care Expert. I will be managing the Car Care section of this forum to help club members with detailing advice, questions and giving the latest on techniques and products from the detailing world. First, I'd like to tell you a little about me. Like many of us, my passion for automobiles started at an early age. My father was an avid car enthusiast and he sparked by interest in automobiles and detailing. As a young boy, I would help him by cleaning parts as he worked on his vehicles and to his amazement, the parts were returned with an eye for detail. Fast forward a couple of decades, and I now manage the detailing operations for SweetCars in Fort Wayne, Indiana as an internationally recognized detailer. Regarded as one of the best detailers in the country by Dupont Registry Magazine. I serve as detailing Blog manager and writer for SweetCars as well as contributing writer for other sites. As a Griot's Garage certified trainer and I conduct workshops and clinics to train necessary detailing skills to both the public and professional detailers alike. Meguiar's trained on all aspects of detailing, I have also trained at the Esoteric Elite Detailer Academy. I share my passion with other clubs as well and serve as a technical car care consultant for Ferrari and Lamborghini among. In the last couple of years, I 've contributed my detailing experience with various detailing product companies, for new product testing and development of new products. My goals are to contribute to the constantly evolving world of detailing, provide insight both nationally and internationally on the subject and continue to contribute to the car care industry. Dictated by passion and patience, I continue the journey my father inspired in me all of those years ago. Through this forum, I hope to help out my fellow club members about detailing. So let's get started!

Danke,

Mike Cardenas
